Dear Hiring Manager,

I am applying for the Junior Penetration Tester role. I have worked as a web developer for two years, so when I find a bug I can read the code behind it and write a fix a developer will accept.

On Hack The Box I solved sixty machines and published twenty-five write-ups, each with the scan output, the steps and the fix. In an intentionally vulnerable web app I found five XSS issues, two IDOR issues and one SQL injection with Burp Suite, and I wrote a one-page report for each with the risk and how to repeat it. At work I replaced string-built SQL in six database calls after a code review found it.

I hold eJPT and I am preparing for a longer exam. I would welcome a practical task as part of your process, and I can share my write-ups before we speak.
